A client needed to understand the logistics and activities around ports – given the scale of the individual ports and their diverse locations around the world, it wasn’t possible to manually check these.
HSAT built a solution to monitor these locations and track the key movements, providing alerts when required.
Ports and warehouses can be monitored very effectively by combining satellite data with computer vision and machine learning to calculate the number of goods being loaded and unloaded.
Alerting systems can then be built on top of these analytics to ensure people are kept up to date on supply chains.
